What is Summit?

  • Summit Camp & Travel is a sleepaway camp and travel program for neurodiverse children and teens based in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Since 1969, Summit has provided its youth with adventures, opportunities, growth, and unforgettable memories.

    Who are Summit’s alumni?

    Anyone who ever attended or worked in Summit’s camp or Travel program is a treasured part of our alumni community. It’s estimated that since camp’s founding, tens of thousands of campers and staff have joined us. We come from all walks of life, but have each been affected by the “Magic on the Hill.”

What is this website?

This site was made to help keep alumni connected with camp, and keep a record of past summers through information, stories, and photos. Over time, we hope to create a thorough archive of Summit’s history as well as collaborate with the camp to run regular alumni programming.

How can I contribute?

We need volunteers to add information to the archive. If you remember details about a specific year of camp (such as unit leader names, what plays were performed, or who won color war) – please send it!
